Dom began playing drums in the fifth grade. In his teens he began playing around the Philadelphia area. Through private lessons and various bands, Dom found his love for Progressive Rock, Funk and most of all Jazz, of which he studied & currently teaches.
Dom currently plays a five piece YAMAHA Stage Custom Drum kit mainly using SABIAN & ZILDJIAN Cymbals. Dom often Rotates Snare Drums for different songs betwwen a DW Custom 12" and a TAMA Custom 14",he uses YAMAHA hardware & stands as well as DW Pedals and accessories.
In smaller venues Dom's play's on a 1969 Gretch Jazz kit all orginal.
Dom's stick of choice rotates constantly, but he does always use different makes of 7a's. |
